DENNIS O’ Keith GARNER - was born August 10th 1964 to Fred and the Late Christine Garner. He began playing the electric guitar at the age of 4. By age 5, Dennis performed at the Greensboro Coliseum before thousands of people during a church convention.
While in middle school, Dennis won the NC Talent Contest. Later Dennis gained more talents such as bass guitar, organ, keyboard, piano, drums, all percussions, upright bass, synthesizer and all vocals. While in high school (1978-82), Dennis played bass guitar for the Belles and Sons Glee Club. During this time, Dennis became a versatile songwriter as well as a Producer/Arranger.
Dennis has opened up shows for many gospel groups such as The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Gospel Keynotes, Bill Paul, John P. Kee,Evelyn Turntine Agee, Damon Little,Dorothy Norwood and Darryl Coley.
He was a guitar player in the movie "Color Purple" in which Oprah Winfrey starred.
In 1997, Dennis was an extra in the movie "Eddie" which starred Whoopi Goldberg.
In 2003, Dennis was the songwriter and producer of the CD “Something For Everybody” performed by Dennis Garner & One Accord.
Late 2005 Dennis released a single CD with 3 songs. The CD is titled “Can't Make It Without You” He's singing all the Lead and Vocal Background and also playing every instrument throughout the entire project.
April 2007, Dennis introduced a New CD entitled “Making A Way”This CD consist of a variety of different types of music including: Holy-hip hop, R&B, Instrumental, Contemporary, Jazz and Traditional Gospel Music.
