Local, statewide and national audiences flock to Damon Fowler Group's sizzling stage shows.
Described as having a 'take-no-prisoners' attitude, the group generates powerful energy and presents a dynamic and dramatic delivery. Fans in the audience get swept up in the moment, and there's no doubt the guys on stage are having a ball performing. You'll get the feeling that the band is communicating with you, taking you along on what some 'DFG' devotees liken to a magical journey.
Damon, already a master of the six string, has developed a powerful command of the lap-steel, dobro, and slide guitars, and continues to astound audiences at every performance. Because of their versatility, they have been called upon to work with such acts as Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, Johnny and Edgar Winter, Robin Trower, Greg Allman, Jimmy Vaughn, Junior Brown, Rick Derringer, Little Feat, The Radiators, Chris Duarte, Delbert McClinton, and numerous others.
Their first CD, titled "Riverview Drive", was released independently, and is an all original recording produced by Rick Derringer. The numbers have reached close to 17,000 units and has shown no sign of slowing down. With the release of their second all original CD "Roots And Branches", which has already eclipsed 7,000 units, and on the heals of their recently released, and critically acclaimed 'Live At Skipper's Smoke House', their fan base is steadily expanding throughout the country.
With Damon on guitars and vocals and featuring the solid rhythm section of bassist Chuck Riley, and Don Stahl on drums, they are currently touring the country. Through their talent, focus, and dedication to their craft, it's just a matter of time until the Damon Fowler Group will be in town near
you.
